Week two: Aegean & coast
Ephesus, Pamukkale, Bodrum gulet day and Antalya before flying home.
Optional add-ons

Domestic flights
Book IST→Kayseri, Kayseri→Izmir, Izmir→Bodrum early in peak season.
Week 1: Istanbul and Cappadocia deep dive
Four nights Istanbul allows Asian side, food tour and Dolmabahce — not just Sultanahmet checklist. Three nights Cappadocia covers balloon backup, underground city and ATV or pottery village. Matches /packages/14-day-complete-turkey structure.
Week 2: Aegean ancient sites
Ephesus, Virgin Mary House and Sirince village fill two days from Izmir or Kusadasi. Pamukkale thermal pools pair with Laodikea for archaeology fans. Private drivers beat coach tours for timing — especially cruise overlap days.
Coast extension: Bodrum or Antalya
Bodrum suits gulet people and upscale dining; Antalya suits families and shorter transfers to ruins. Allow 3–4 nights for swimming without rushing Perge. Summer peaks in August — book sea-view hotels early.
Optional: Gallipoli, Safranbolu or Trabzon
ANZAC visitors add 2 days Gallipoli — /gallipoli-tours. Safranbolu fits between Istanbul and Ankara axis. Trabzon and Sumela need an extra 3 days minimum — best as a dedicated extension, not a rushed day trip.
Sample domestic flight chain
IST→Kayseri→Izmir→Bodrum (or Antalya)→IST is typical. We hold luggage tags and rebooking rights when airlines shift schedules — included in private packages, not guaranteed on self-booked LCC tickets.
