Day 1
Fly, then the stones
Early domestic flight from Istanbul to Şanlıurfa GAP, met on arrival. Göbekli Tepe is first, while you are sharp: the T-shaped pillars and the enclosures that are open that season, with the guide telling you what is known and what is still a guess. Afternoon is the archaeology museum, including the Urfa Man statue. Evening walk at Balıklıgöl and a short bazaar pass. Hotel in the city, not at the site.
Day 2
Mosaics if the flight allows, then Istanbul
Haleplibahçe mosaics only when the return flight leaves a real morning. If the bank of flights is early, the mosaics are dropped rather than rushed. Transfer to the airport and back to Istanbul, then your hotel or the international terminal. Mount Nemrut is a separate quote. The Van and Mardin package does not visit either site.

A bookable departure, not a history article

Göbekli Tepe is about 18 kilometres from Şanlıurfa. The useful way to see it from Istanbul is a flight, a guide who will say what the pillars do not prove, and the museum afterwards, where the Urfa Man and the site’s carvings can be looked at slowly. What this two-day route leaves out

Nemrut Dağı needs Adıyaman and a sunset or sunrise on the summit. It is not attached to this flight — we do not open a thin Nemrut product URL.
