Why Patmos fits the Seven Churches story
Revelation was written to seven churches in western Turkey, traditionally on Patmos where John was exiled. Visiting Patmos closes the narrative loop — from the island where the letters were given to the cities where they were read. It is a natural add-on after Ephesus, not a substitute for the Asia Minor loop.
How to reach Patmos from Turkey
Summer ferries run Kusadasi–Samos–Patmos (seasonal schedules; typically May–October). Many groups ferry to Samos and day-trip or overnight on Patmos. What to see on Patmos
